Staff working at St George’s or Queen Mary’s on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day will be able to enjoy some free festive food.
- FREE Christmas lunch for all staff working on Christmas Day
- FREE pizza to share with your team will be distributed across ward areas on New Year’s Eve
- FREE breakfast for all staff working on New Year’s Day
CEO at St George’s Hospital Charity CEO, Amerjit Chohan, said: “We are so pleased to be able to fund this initiative and show appreciation for staff working over the festive period.
“A free Christmas meal felt like the perfect way to say thank you to staff for helping to keep patients safe, and spread a little festive cheer!”

The St George’s Breast Surgery team are cycling 260miles from the Rose centre at St George’s to the ACC Conference Centre in Liverpool in order to attend their annual Association of Breast Surgery conference and raise money for Breast Surgery Research at St George’s.

Following the success of our Staff Choir course in the Autumn, the Staff Choir initiative will return on the 28th April. Taking place on Thursday evenings, the Choir is fully funded by St George’s Hospital Charity and facilitated by our highly skilled Choir Leader, Georgia Duncan. We caught up with Georgia in advance of her first session!
